2025 Country Junior District Competition
8 – 11 years

It was a battle of the districts on Saturday 25 October for the 2025 Junior District Competition at
MSAC.
The Country Junior District were held in the afternoon, the afternoon session had 253
swimmers representing 8 country districts competing for the Gippsland Trophy, awarded to the
district scoring the highest aggregate points.
The Ovens & Murray had 27 swimmers competing in a total of 92 individual events and 10
relays, for many of our swimmers this was their first time representing the District and the
opportunity to swim at MSAC - an exciting milestone for our District swimmers!

Call for Technical Officials in the Ovens & Murray Swimming District

Our Chief Referee Randal Jones has complied a flyer/information sheet on the Swimming Australia Technical Offical Journey. The District continues to need more qualified Officials to support our very busy Swim Meet calendar.
